Scout: Maps & GPS Navigation App Reviews

I began using Scout I believe over 5 years ago and I love it. My only drawback was a recent trip to Columbia SC, I guess the way the roads turned it got confused as to when to make a turn but thank God for the written details because I used them to complete my destinations. Regardless of the minor glitches I LOVE SCOUT

This is an easy to use app that is very accurate and gives directions timely. I have used navigational apps before that are a bit lagged in telling you when to turn.

Perfect for driving

I dont understand why Im forced to enter my phone number to use this app.

My go to app, but noticed less functionality with each upgrade.

This app is on point!!! Never had to worry about getting lost. This app always got me where I needed to go!!! Wish there were European maps too.

I use to like this app, but now Im thinking of downloading another one. Fix this issue, it long longer tells you the street to turn. Turn here and keep left! Really? I might had well asked a human

Use to use this app, until its update changes everything and now its getting worst. Give me direction into a once way street and gps are off most of the time. Change to Waze now much better than this. So disappointed!

This has been a good app but, unfortunately, it seems to be deteriorating instead of improving. Directions have been inaccurate & incorrect sometimes. Sometimes the app freezes & leaves me in the middle of a trip & does not recover for a while. With the original trip software version, I relied completely on the trip app, now I print out trip directions for backup. I hope that Scout will correct these glitches.

What is wrong with this app? The last two days Ive used it, it starts out by saying the street names, but then stops. Just says, "Turn left, right, exit." When in unfamiliar territory, this is unacceptable. Ive tried restarting my phone and checking for updates. Nothing works. Though I like the app, I cant keep using it if this isnt fixed.

I used to use this app frequently, but lately my recent trips, favorited locations and home address are deleted a day after I store them. This app is in need of an update badly & since I use this for work its inconvenient to have to re type addresses. Also the navigation used to continue to play in the background and now it wont play unless the app is open.. Please fix this

Clear and easy to use, simple to use for every conmute. I do recommend it

I cant delete or edit anything on here except my home address!! Going to remove the app!!!

Much more accurate than my GPS (which does have updated maps).

Love this app but new update is not letting me get into scout...text code is not working properly...pls fix soon

Scout is hands-down the best free navigation app you could ever have. Before finding scout when I used map quest, I would literally get lost every time or the route would take me on unnecessary routes adding to my travel time. I love the fact that you can inform others when youre on your way and that they can even see you driving along on the map to get an even more precise arrival time. Honestly that is just one of the long list of benefits that this app offers and Ive had dozens of people that Ive told about it, download it right away

Could do better with loading information and the vocal instructions dont always come through. Hit or miss for the vocal to come through my car audio system. Looking forward to improvements.

A very good app.

Very easy to use!!! Could be better if Im able to remove some steps when getting routes to the places I want to go. Also to put more choices for routes cuz there are times when I already know where to go but the app gives me a longer way to my destination.

Its takes you to longest and confusing route that will show you less miles than actual
